Terms and Conditions

Personalised Goods

Please note that goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements, are non-refundable, unless faulty.

Minimum Orders 

Due to the amount of time/elements required to produce stationery plus the increasing cost of

supplies and delivery charges  a minimum order of 10 is required.

This also applies if you need extras.  We suggest that you order a few spares to avoid having to over order again.

Payments

We accept payment via secure payment site paypal, by credit card via the website or by direct bank transfer.

We reserve the right to decline orders we feel to be fraudulent.

Should such a situation arise we will make every attempt to contact the purchaser to advise.

Should you prefer to call us or email with your order we

guarantee your details are not stored in any way once the transaction is complete.

Ordering

Your order will not be confirmed until a non-refundable deposit is received. 

Once the deposit has been paid, card stock and materials specific to your order will be cut and prepared and therefore can no longer be changed. Should you wish to change the card size/colour, ribbon size/colour, embellishment styles  etc you will be charged for its replacement.

 

Proofs be provided for your approval, allowing you up to three opportunities to request changes to the design and ensure you're satisfied with the text. Please note that any additional design changes beyond this may incur extra charges. Once you approve the proofs your stationery will be produced. The remaining balance is due before dispatch, and you will receive tracking details. Your stationery will arrive within 14 days your order, unless otherwise communicated due to holidays or other delays.

 

Please book in advance as bespoke work does take take a little longer than the norm to create and please make sure that you order a few extras! We have a minimum order of 10 due to time taken to make and material costings and we cannot always guarantee a quick turnaround outside of your production slot for any extra invitations required.

Proofs

Proofs will be sent for your approval. No responsibility or liability can be accepted by J Hughes Wedding Stationery for any errors not corrected by you after inspecting the proofs. When proofs are sent to you please double check that you are perfectly happy before approving. 

Please also double check spellings of guests names if you are having them entered on to your invitations.

Any reprints/errors will incur costs.

 

Printing

It is your responsibility to check that that all the information is correct and to advise us of any amendments. Should errors occur due to failure to check the information  you will incur additional charges to correct thus prolonging production time. Any errors by J Hughes will be corrected free of charge.

As we print all of your guest names onto your stationery we  will require a PRINTED list of all the guest names from you a minimum of four weeks prior to your expected delivery date. This list can either be sent to  via email (or Word or excel doc format) or by post. Please double check the spelling of names as we will not be held responsible for mistakes (unless the fault is ours!).

Our Designs

Please note that we make all of our designs as consistent as possible but as they are handmade no two will be ever be exactly the same. This is all part of their appeal!

Substitutions

We will always try to maintain consistency in our designs but sometimes it may be necessary to use alternative materials depending upon availability at the time. The design, however, will not be compromised in any way.

Unforseen Circumstances

We will make every effort to supply your demands however cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond our control.

It is our hope that you are completely satisfied with our products and services but in the event you should have a complaint please contact us in writing to: jo@jhughesweddingstationery.co.uk

Delivery

Delivery will be sent via 1st class recorded post or by courier service. This delivery is guaranteed, insured and traceable by the delivery service provider. Deliveries are on weekdays only.

​

J. Hughes retains legal title of all goods until paid for in full which also includes delivery charges.

 

 

 

IMPORTANT

We can not take responsibility for non-delivery, loss or damage to goods once they have left our possession.
